The easiest festival you’ll ever get to. Travel to Kilkenny City, enjoy the restaurants, bars and atmosphere, then take the short riverside walk from Canal Square to Castle Mills.
No remote festival site
Just walk from the city.
There are no shuttle buses, no long treks from distant fields and no complicated transport arrangements. Once you’re in Kilkenny, you’re almost there.

Enjoy Kilkenny’s restaurants, pubs and hotels before the show.
Arrive early, leave the car parked, and make a full evening of it.
Public transport
Get to Kilkenny by train or bus.
Kilkenny is well connected by rail and coach. Check operators’ live timetables before travelling, especially for late return options after the concert.
Train
Irish Rail services connect Kilkenny with Dublin Heuston, Waterford and intermediate stations. Kilkenny MacDonagh Station is close to the city centre.

Arriving by car
Park in the city, then walk.
There is no public parking at the Castle Mills event site. Please use Kilkenny city car parks and walk from Canal Square to the venue. Parking early also gives you time to enjoy the city before gates open.
